During these unprecedented times our activities will look a little different. We are committed to making sure our activities reduce transmission rates and ensure the safety of everyone on camp. This means some of the usual activities won’t be around.
There’s no need to worry though, as every activity on the timetable will still be safe, inclusive and non stop fun!
Our sessions range from introducing adapted versions of the more traditional sports (rugby, football, cricket, netball and rounders) to outright madness in the Body Zorbs or on our giant inflatables. And with rock climbing, archery and Archery Tag also on offer, we’ve got it all.
These adaptations allow children to escape any preconceived ideas they have of the sport and of their capabilities in it. No more “urghh! That’s a boy’s game!” or “I don’t want to.. I’m rubbish at that!”. It simply means all children can get involved, full of enthusiasm and with thoughts only of success.
All the while, however, children continue to develop their sports specific and fundamental motor skills in a safe and inclusive environment.
Activities vary according to the age of the children. This ensures that every child enjoys every moment of their time with us at Activ Camps. Also check out the Rookie Programme for the bigger kids and our Young Leader Programme for 14-17 year olds.
