STAFFING
Each camp will have a balanced staff team in terms of experience, expertise and qualifications. Site Managers are usually trained teachers or experienced childcare workers in charge of overall operations of the camp. Assistant Site Managers, Senior Group Leaders and Senior Activity Instructors and Lead First Aiders make up the rest of the management team.
Other staff on camp include Group Leaders who are in charge of the welfare of children, Activity Instructors who are in charge of running activities, and a number of qualified first aiders. Specialist Activity Instructors are also employed for activities such as swimming, rock climbing and quad bikes.
All staff are also enhanced DBS checked. They can be recognised by their royal blue ‘STAFF’ t-shirts and hoodies.
