Make sure you book up early as Activ Camp is very popular with kids and they won’t be happy if all their friends get to go and they are missing out!

During 2022, Emanuel School will be undergoing significant building works, meaning that our camps will operate differently than usual.
In order to continue providing safe and high quality childcare, the school will be split into two entirely different camps, with different entry and exit points, different facilities and staff teams assigned to them.
Therefore, please bear this in mind when booking siblings and when coordinating your bookings with friends. You will not be able to switch between camps once they are fully booked and any changes will be subject to our Changes and Cancellation Policy.
Information on both available camps can be seen below.
Please note that there is no vehicle access to the school site.

In terms of activities, there is little difference between these two camps. Both will run with the same non-stop fun timetables, however, there is one activity at each camp which is exclusive to each camp. Emanuel School Camp 1 offers rock climbing as an activity exclusively, and Emanuel School Camp 2 offers swimming exclusively.
There are some differences in the entrances used and facilities. For more information, please refer to the sections below this section.
Camp 1 Directions…
The Camp 1 entrance and registration point will be at the Emanuel School Common Gate, leading onto Wandsworth Common. We will ensure that we have very colourful signage to demarcate the entrance point.
Notable points of reference:
Skylark Café – if approaching from the Bellevue Road side of the common or the Toast Rack. Continue past the café along the path keeping the bowls green and tennis courts immediately on your right and at the end of the path, when you reach John Archer Way, turn right and follow the edge of the field.
John Archer Way* – If approaching from Wandsworth Common West Side or Battersea, proceed to the end of this road and walk onto the common, turning left immediately and following the edge of the field.
*Please be considerate of our neighbours around this area as this is a very residential area. If you are arriving by car, please park on Spencer Park (free parking before 0930 and after 1630).
You can then walk down John Archer Way and onto the common. Do not turn left before entering the common as you will end up in Coates Avenue which is a dead end.
Post Code: SW18 2TT – Use this postcode to find the closest point to the Activ Camps Emanuel School Camp 1 entrance.
Camp 2 Directions…
Please enter through the Spencer Park Bridge entrance. Registration is in the Dacre building. Head over the bridge and keep walking straight, follow the black fence of the astro turf around turning right at the end. That’s where our sign-in desk will be and a member of staff to help you.
We must again remind you that no cars are allowed into Emanuel School. Should you choose to drive, you should park on Spencer Park and walk to the entrance from there.
The gates will be locked outside of the following times in the morning:
0830- 0930
Therefore, you must not arrive outside of these times. Please ensure you arrive on time to drop off your children.
If, for any reason you are arriving outside of these times, including if you are arriving late or picking your child up early, you should call the site team in advance (number displayed above) to ensure a member of staff can assist you at the gate.
A waiting time of at least 10 minutes can be expected before a member of staff can be on hand to assist you.
If the gate is unattended, please stay where you are. You will not be permitted to enter at any other entry point including the other camp entrance.
Please note, phone reception around Emanuel School can often be poor. If you are unable to get through to the site team, please call head office on 07896 546 067 so that we can help ensure someone is coming to the gate.
These camps are completely separate to one another, with different staffing teams and no mixing occurring between the two camps. If your child has a friend at the other camp they will not be able to be together. If you need to switch your booking, please email info@activcamps.com
Please note, switching your booking is subject to availability and our terms and conditions.
As Camp 1 and Camp 2 are run as entirely separate camps, this will only be possible if there is availability at the other camp. This is also subject to our Changes and Cancellation policy. If you would like to switch your dates to the other camp please email info@activcamps.com.
It is feasible, however, you will not be able to register and collect the children in the same place. It is a 15 minute walk between the two areas so we don’t suggest this if you are going to be short on time at drop off and collection on any of the days you are attending.
There has been one change. Those who attended Emanuel School Camp 2 previously accessed the camp through the Battersea Rise entrance. This has now reverted back to the usual Spencer Park Bridge entrance with registration taking place at the Dacre building.
If you are attending Camp 1 you will still need to enter through via the Wandsworth Common Entrance as per Easter.
If you have booked Camp 2 (swimming), then yes. If you have booked Camp 1 (rock climbing), then you will need to enter through the Wandsworth Common Entrance. For directions on where to go, please refer to the FAQ titled ‘where do I need to drop off and collect my child?’
Bookings cannot be reserved. They can only be confirmed once payment has been received.
It is advisable to call if paying by childcare vouchers within two weeks of the start of a camp.
We accept the following payments:
