At Activ Camps, we take pride in offering a fantastic range of safe, inclusive, active, and most importantly, fun activities every single day at our holiday camps. From bouncing around on our GIANT inflatables to embarking on high-adrenaline adventures like Archery Tag, we make sure every child has something to look forward to every day.
This summer, we asked our parents and carers what their favourite activities were so we could keep the hits coming, season after season. And guess what? You responded! So, without further ado, here are the top eight summer camp activities as voted by you:
8. Rock Climbing
Found exclusively at Emanuel School*, this wall of wonder boasts 90 square meters of pure climbing bliss. Whether your child is scaling new heights or learning the ropes, Rock Climbing is the ultimate adventure.
*Unfortunately, due to renovations Rock Climbing will not be available this Summer 2025 at Emanuel School.
7. 40-40 Homie
For all our speedsters, this classic game of escape and evasion had everyone sprinting and dodging their way to victory. Keep your running shoes ready, 40-40 Homie is coming to our Summer Camps
6. The Monster
Standing tall at an awe-inspiring 22 feet, this inflatable colossus was a hit! Tunnels, cargo nets, and towering slides made The Monster a must-conquer for all our brave adventurers.
5. Water Fight Mania
Nothing screams summer like soaking your friends with wet sponges in an all-out water fight. The summer, laughter echoed through camp as kids embraced Water Fight Mania, the ultimate cool-down on a hot summer’s day!
4. Archery Tag
Imagine paintball, now swap out the paint and guns for bows and foam-tipped arrows. Archery Tag delivers an adrenaline-fueled, action-packed experience where ducking, diving, and strategic shooting reign supreme. Look forward to Archery Tag and loads of other Big Kids Games, such as Nerf Knockout, Zorbs, Spikeball and much more.
3. Super Swimming Sessions
No surprises here, swimming remains a fan favourite. Whether it’s building water confidence, developing strength, or just having a splash around, our Qualified Swim Instructors and Lifeguards make sure every session is as safe as it is fun. Available at Burntwood School, Emanuel School, St Paul’s School*, and Wimbledon College.
*Swimming will not be running at St. Paul’s School this Summer 2025 due to renovations to the pool.
2. Dodgeball
Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and… dodge! It’s no wonder Dodgeball was a close second. This fast-paced team sport brings out laughter, competition, and even the occasional grand finale showdown. Plus, we throw in the occasional staff vs kids match for extra fun! Dodgeball is a camp staple and will be back this Half term on Friday, 1st November!
1. The Sweeper
It’s easy to see why this Total Wipeout-inspired activity stole the top spot. The Sweeper is all about balance, timing, and trying again (and again!). A giant rotating arm swings across the arena as kids balance on wobbly podiums, trying their best to stay upright. The thrill is endless, and the laughter is contagious, no wonder it’s number one!
