As the October half-term approaches, the excitement is palpable! At Activ Camps, we’ve been busy preparing an action-packed holiday filled with fun, adventure, and a splash of Halloween spirit. Whether your child is a little explorer seeking new adventures or a thrill-seeker looking for high-energy activities, we have got something for everyone this half term!
From our GIANT inflatables to the much-anticipated Halloween Day, our half-term schedule is designed to keep every camper engaged, active, and, most importantly, smiling. With plenty of laughter, new friendships, and unforgettable memories awaiting, let’s dive into all the incredible experiences we have planned for this half term.

Activities for All Ages
At Activ Camps, we believe in creating an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of age, can jump in and enjoy the action. From the littlest adventurers to the more experienced campers, we offer a packed lineup of activities that cater to all interests and energy levels.
Giant Inflatables are a staple, bringing bouncing fun every day. Whether it’s mastering The Sweeper, with its swinging arm that keeps kids on their toes, or one of our other massive inflatables, there’s never a dull moment. It’s all about balance, timing, and loads of laughter as they jump, dodge, and try to stay upright.
Then there are the Crazy Games, which are all about embracing the wild side! Think giant-sized parachutes, chaotic ball games, and the kind of silly fun that lets kids let loose. From Parachute Games to Run the Gauntlet, every day is an opportunity to break out of the ordinary and dive into the crazy.
Of course, we can’t forget our Invasion Games—fast-paced, team-based activities that get the heart racing and teamwork in full swing. Whether it’s Capture the Flag or the ever-popular 40-40 Homie, kids strategise, collaborate, and dash for victory, all while developing those key skills for mainstream sports like rugby and football.
For those who love the water, our Super Swimming Sessions offer the perfect mix of fun and skill-building. Whether they’re splashing around, playing water games, or working on their swim strokes, every session is run by our qualified swim instructors, ensuring both safety and fun. Swimming is available this half term at Burntwood School, St Paul’s School, and Wimbledon College.
Brand New for Half Term: Big Kids Arena
Older kids looking for more adventure? We’ve got them covered with the launch of The Big Kids Arena, dedicated to high-octane activities that cater to the 8+ crowd. These activities are designed to give older children more excitement, challenge, and responsibility, perfect for those who have been with us year after year.
Highlights this half term include:
- Body Zorbs: An Activ Camps classic! Whether it’s body zorbing football or just crashing into friends, expect a lot of laughs and tumbles in these inflatable suits.
- Spikeball: Fast-paced and fierce, Spikeball combines teamwork and lightning reflexes. It’s a quick-fire game that gets the heart pumping!
- Nerf Knockout: Gear up for a foam dart battle! In Nerf Knockout, strategy and speed are key as children duck, dodge, and aim for victory.
- Archery Tag: A thrilling fusion of archery and dodgeball! Using foam-tipped arrows, kids will practice their aim and agility in this action-packed game.
For our oldest children (10-14 years), we also offer the Rookie Programme, which harnesses the independent energy of 10-14-year-olds by allowing them to occasionally support younger groups, helping them develop valuable leadership and communication skills. This initiative provides the older children a greater level of choice, some more freedom and some responsibility during their camp experience.
Halloween Day – Thursday, 31st October
Halloween is always a highlight, and this year is no exception! On Thursday, 31st October, we’re turning up the spooky vibes across all our camps for a day filled with thrilling Halloween-themed fun.
- Dress to Impress (or Scare!): Children are encouraged to come dressed in their best spooky costumes, ready to show off their Halloween creativity.
- Prizes Galore: From best costume to best spooky spirit, we’ll be handing out prizes throughout the day.
- Devilishly Decorated Sites: Our camps will be transformed into haunted hideaways, with eerie decorations and plenty of surprises in store.
Get ready for a day filled with fantastic costumes, spine-chilling fun, and a lineup of activities that will make this Halloween unforgettable.
